urpfp.com is a retro personal homepage builder. You sign up, claim a slug, and customize a desktop-style page with a title, a background image URL, desktop links, and social links. Your page lives at urpfp.com/yourname.
By using urpfp, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site. This page is a plain-language summary, not legal advice, and it may be updated. The version on this page is the current version.
You must provide a valid email address. You are responsible for keeping your password safe, and for anything done from your account. You may also log in with an emailed login link, as a backup to your password. Do not share your account, and do not register an account for someone else.
You must be at least 13 years old to use urpfp, or have permission from a parent or guardian if you are under 18 in your area.
You own what you put on your page, and you are responsible for it. That includes your title, your background image URL, your desktop links, and your social links.
Do not use urpfp for illegal activity, for harassment, for hate, for impersonating another person or brand, for phishing or malware, for spam or deceptive link farms, for adult content involving minors, or for anything that infringes someone else's rights. Backgrounds are URLs only, no files are uploaded to urpfp, but linking to illegal or harmful material is still prohibited.
urpfp may hide, unfeature, or remove a page that breaks these terms, or that is reported and found to break them. Featured pages, including Pepper's Choice and Users Choice, are curated picks, not endorsements of everything on a linked external site.
Links on user pages are chosen by the page owner, not by urpfp. urpfp is not responsible for the content, accuracy, safety, or privacy practices of external links, websites, or services linked from a user page. Clicking a link on a user page is at your own risk. If a link looks malicious or illegal, report it using the Report this page link on that profile, or by emailing hi@urpfp.com with the profile slug.
Visitor counts are simple counts of page views, excluding the page owner's own views. They can be inflated by repeated visits, so they are a fun signal, not a verified ranking. Users Choice awards are reviewed before they are awarded, and a profile that appears to game its count, or that breaks these terms, will not win.
Being featured does not mean urpfp owns, controls, or guarantees your page, and featuring can be removed at any time.
urpfp is provided as is, without warranties. urpfp is a small personal project, not a large platform. Service may go down, pages may be lost in a move or outage, and you should keep your own copy of anything important. To the fullest extent allowed by law, urpfp is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the site, or from external links on user pages.
To report a page, use the Report this page link on that profile, or email hi@urpfp.com with the profile slug and what is wrong. To ask for your account or page to be deleted, email hi@urpfp.com from the email address on your account.
