urpfp Privacy

urpfp collects as little as possible, and it does not sell your personal information.

What we collect

• Your email address, when you register or request a login link.
• Your password, stored only as a secure hash, never in plain text.
• Your profile content, which you choose to make public: your slug, title, background image URL, contact email if you add one, desktop links, and social links.
• Visitor counts: a per-profile count, and a site-wide count. These are aggregate counts only, not a list of who visited.
• A session cookie, so you stay logged in while you use the site. No third-party tracking tags, no Google tags, and no advertising cookies are used by urpfp itself.

What we use it for

Your email is used only to log you in, to send a login link if you request one, and to contact you about your account if needed. Your profile content is used only to display your public page, and, if you are featured, to display it in Pepper's Choice or Users Choice. Your password hash is used only to check your password at login.

What we do not do

We do not sell your email or profile data. We do not share it with advertisers. External links on your page may take visitors to other sites, and those sites have their own privacy practices. urpfp is not responsible for them, see the Terms page.

Where your data lives

Your data lives in a MySQL database on our Hostinger hosting, in Canada and the United States hosting infrastructure Hostinger uses. Email for login links is sent from hi@urpfp.com via Hostinger SMTP. If you forward mail from hi@urpfp.com, that forwarding is set up by the site owner, not by urpfp code.

Deletion and contact

To ask for your account, profile, or email to be deleted, email hi@urpfp.com from the email address on your account. Deleting your account deletes your profile and your login links. Visitor counts that are already aggregated cannot be traced back to you.
